Epic Games said on Monday that Apple has threatened to revoke its developer account, meaning Epic will no longer be able to make apps for the App Store, the only way for consumers to install software on an iPhone.

The escalation comes the week after Epic Games, makers of the popular Fortnite video game, released a new direct payment mechanism inside the game designed to bypass the App Store’s payment system, from which Apple takes 30%. Apple then removed Fortnite from the App Store, saying Fortnite violated its rules, and Epic Games sued it in an attempt to force it to change its business practices.

Epic free v bucks generator is one of several companies currently engaged in high-profile disputes over Apple’s control of the App Store and its 30% fee. SpotifyMatch Group, and Facebook have all publicly criticized Apple’s App Store policies recently. Congress probed Apple CEO Tim Cook in a hearing in July about the App Store’s fees and policies.

Epic Games said on Monday that Apple had given it until August 28 before removing the game makers’ developer accounts, which would make it unable to release new games or publish updates to its current apps. Currently, Epic Games publishes one game on the U.S. App Store, a puzzle game called Battle Breakers.

Epic Games also makes the Unreal Engine, software which many iPhone and Android games use to integrate realistic graphics and physics. In its filing, Epic says that Apple’s move to remove its developer accounts represents an “existential threat” to Unreal Engine.

“Then when Epic sued Apple to break its monopoly on app stores and in-app payments, Apple retaliated ferociously,” Epic Games lawyers wrote in a Monday filing. “It told Epic that by August 28, Apple will cut off Epic’s access to all development tools necessary to create software for Apple’s platforms — including for the Unreal Engine Epic offers to third-party developers, which Apple has never claimed violated any Apple policy.”

Epic Games is claiming that Apple is “attacking Epic’s entire business in unrelated areas.” It’s seeking an injunction that will “preserve status quo” and permit the company to continue to sell apps on the App Store.

Rifts got added with a new spaceship event in Fortnite

Fortnite battle royale season 3 has almost completed 3/4th of its tenure. The water level has receded substantially and a large portion of the map is now available. There is also a new event that Epic has lined up for players, along with the new POI.

It is not Atlantis, rather it’s renamed into Carl. It was never certain whether Atlantis would be a part of season 3. Nevertheless, we are hoping that, somehow, Epic will find a way to surprise us there. This new POI features quite a picturesque view. It is semi-submerged, thus getting out can be tricky if a fight takes place. Also, people mostly wait on the shoreline, sniping, as the players come out.

The new mini-event that is related to episode hack piecing together a spaceship seems pretty interesting too. SypherPK made a comprehensive video where he explains the best way to get the challenges done.

We all remember when walking through one of these rifts gave us a re-jump from the sky. It seems that Epic Games does want to balance the air superiority in the game. With whirlpools acting as faux-launchpads, and now rifts, players are going to take advantage of this.

The spaceship near Craggy Cliffs is incomplete and needs to be pieced together. There are three distinct pieces hidden in plain sight, so don’t forget to check the water nearby. Once these pieces are correctly organized, the spaceship just zooms off. Sypher also noticed that inside the spaceship, there is a legendary chest. However, it did not work out for him either because the spaceship wasn’t properly organized or because of a glitch.Related Post

New POI? Will there be an Atlantis?

Season 4 of Chapter 2 is right around the corner. Epic v buck generator reveals the most expected elements right at the end of the game. The Carl POI does have a crystal castle but that might not be the Atalantis.

As Sypher theorizes, Atlantis might rise up from the water. Maybe on the last day, maybe over the next week, no one knows for sure. For now, the best we can do is complete the new spaceship challenge.

What Reward Do I Get For Completing The Challenge?

Fortnite: Chapter 2, Season 3 has new challenges for Week 6 available now. One challenge will send you to a location that isn’t listed on the map. The challenge asks you to catch a weapon at Stack Shack. This guide will show you how to find Stack Shack and what it means to “catch a weapon.” The challenge went live on Thursday, July 23. You can try it out for yourself now.

Where Is The Stack Shack?

The Stack Shack is located on the outskirts of the Fortnite Season 3 map, west of Holly Hedges. It’s an island with a single shack filled with fishing gear and loot. There is nothing but water surrounding it so it is hard to miss. You can find it in the A4 tile on the map. Check out the image below for an exact location.

How Do I Catch A Weapon?

Once you’re at Stack Shack all you’ll need to do is grab one of the fishing poles in the barrel outside the building and then go fishing. There are usually several fishing spots, little white splashes of water with fish jumping in an out, scattered around the island. You can’t throw your fishing hook into just anywhere in the water—you need one of these spots. I encountered two when I visited this week.

You’ll need to reel in a weapon (not a fish or other item) though, which isn’t guaranteed. v bucks codes You may have to visit this island multiple times in order to complete the challenge.

Fortnite’s newest in-game emote is a collaborative one

Fortnite’s newest in-game emote is a collaborative one. Epic Games this evening announced the launch of “The Renegade,” the viral TikTok dance created by Atlanta teenager Jalaiah Harmon. The Twitter account for Fortnite openly cites Harmon, writing, “Go, go, go, go, let’s go and bust out some [fire] moves by @jalaiah.”

It’s not clear whether Epic and Harmon struck some type of licensing deal, but it’s a possibility considering the developer’s rocky legal history with dance emotes. Throughout Fortnite’s meteoric rise starting in the fall of 2017, the game has featured a number of real-world dances copied from pop culture.

Sometimes the emotes were inspired by dances on old television shows, like the default dance inspired by Scrubs actor Donald Faison. But quite often these dances were invented by black creators and later went viral on social media. A number of lawsuits were ultimately filed against Epic over claims the company infringed on some variety of either likeness or copyright by using the dances without permission.

In this case, however, it appears Epic free v bucks generator is openly citing the creator of the dance its newest emote emulates, and it would be quite strange to do so without having first collaborated with Harmon to get it in the game. The developer seems to no longer interested in taking existing dances and turning them into emotes without credit, as was its strategy in the past for some popular dances.

The company held a TikTok dance contest earlier this year with transparent licensing terms and has been turning popular streamer dance moves into emotes with the permission and collaboration of the creators themselves. Popular streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins got his own skin, emote, and other in-game items as part of a deal with Epic back in January.

The inclusion of the Renegade emote is also a nice gesture for Harmon, who largely went unrecognized for her dance even as it became one of the most popular moves on TikTok and other social platforms earlier this year. Only after articles by publications like The New York Timesand Voxdid Harmon get the proper credit for her massively influential contribution to pop culture. And now Harmon will be forever immortalized in the world of Fortnite.

With Captain America coming to the Item Shop this evening

There’s a new semi-secret challenge live in Fortnite to help celebrate the 4th of July.

With Captain America coming to the Item Shop this evening, Epic Games has added a Captain America-themed challenge to the game alongside the normal Week 3 challenges and Aquaman challenge.

Oddly enough, this challenge isn’t found in Weekly Challenges or a special Captain America challenge. It’s simply part of the Quick Challenges that are normally basic stuff like searching ammo boxes or harvesting wood.

The challenge tasks players with setting off five fireworks around Lazy Lake. These fireworks burst into the air with Captain America’s symbol. It’s a nice touch.

Once you’ve set off all 5, you’ll get 14,000 XP and feel a tiny bit more patriotic than before (or not, if you’re not American or—even if you are—aren’t feeling super great about the state of the nation).

I won’t dip into politics v buck generator despite the 4th of July being inherently political. Instead, I’ll just enjoy the challenge because I do love Captain America.Recommended For You

A word of warning: Once you’ve lit a firework it’s gone for the rest of the match. This means that if someone gets to these first, you may not find them. If you show up to one of these six locations and don’t see one there, that could be why. Here’s what the Fireworks look like when you find them:

I stumbled on one of these entirely by mistake this morning. All of them appear to be on hills, some further away than others from the Named Location.

I also noticed a strange bug this morning. I played a Squads match with my kids (we got a victory royale, too) and my daughter wasn’t seeing any of the Week 3 challenges. Her game was updated, but she needed to restart in order for them to show up, which I haven’t seen before.

In any case, happy 4th of July! It’s been a tough year and there are dark times ahead, but I still hold out hope that somehow we can work together to overcome these grave national struggles. And hey, at least we can all play a little Fortnite in peace and harmony.

The new season of Fortnite is finally here

The new season of Fortnite is finally here — and it brought with it a flood. Today Epic Games released the long-delayed third season for Fortnite: Chapter 2, following a massive event earlier in the week which saw the game’s battle royale island surrounded by a wall of water. Fittingly, the new season has submerged large areas of the island, creating a bigger focus on aquatic gameplay elements. That includes a new Waterworld-style floating city area, and the ability to water ski — while pulled by a shark.

The biggest change is, of course, the map. The western portion of the island is now mostly underwater, largely eliminating locations like Slurpy Swamp and Weeping Woods. Meanwhile, the previously destroyed Agency area now appears to be some kind of heavily-fortified base. The new map makes the game’s boats much more viable, while the new season also introduces new mobility options, including the aforementioned water skiing; you’ll be able to latch on to a shark, naturally, by fishing. Other big additions include new NPC enemies called Marauders.

Epic has also teased that later in the season actual cars will be coming to the game, a first for Fortnite v bucks generator. It appears the flooding isn’t necessarily a permanent fixture. “As time goes on and water recedes, even more locations will be uncovered, and as the roadways become more open, you’ll discover new ways to get around,” the developer explains.

Along with the changes to the game itself, a new season also means a new battle pass, Fortnite’s seasonal subscription-like service. Players who splurge for a pass will get a number of characters to unlock, including Aquaman and Kit, a tiny kitten riding a motorcycle that also powers a mech suit. You know, typical Fortnite stuff. Just like last season there’s a continued focus on customization; this time players will be able to build their own umbrella over the course of the season, unlocking parts over time.

It’s been a long time coming for the new season. Chapter 2’s second season debuted back on February 20th, and since then Fortnite has seen some notable changes and events. That includes a violence-free social space called Party Royalein-game additions like helicopters, and a surreal virtual concert tour from Travis Scott. Epic also announced that the game had topped 350 million players, making it among the most popular titles in the world. The flooding of the map represents the biggest change to Fortnite since the days-long blackhole event that wiped out the original island.

Despite the long wait, Epic managed to hype up the new season in grand fashion, with the “device” event on Monday, which saw 12 million players participate live, and more than 8 million more watch on Twitch and YouTube.

How to start the Fortnite Aquaman challenges

With Fortnite Season 3, Epic Games is offering to let you play in an Aquaman skin—and not just normie Aquaman. Shirtless Jason Momoa Aquaman. The best kind of aquatic superhero. Epic won’t give him to you for free, though. Much like Deadpool’s challenges in Season 2, you’ll have to complete a bunch of challenges to earn him.

Here’s how to complete each Aquaman challenge in Fortnite.

How to start the Fortnite Aquaman challenges

First things first, here are the two Aquaman skins you’ll get for eventually completing the challenges.RECOMMENDED VIDEOS FOR YOU…

The first step to starting the Fortnite Aquaman challenges is buying the Season 3 battle pass for at least 1,000 V-Bucks, or the deluxe battle pass for 2,500 V-Bucks that gets you v buck generator no verification automatically leveled up further. That will unlock the Aquaman challenges on the challenge list in the battle pass menu.

Here are all the challenges so far:

– Use a whirlpool at the Fortilla location (this is the only challenge so far).

To use a whirlpool at the Fortilla location, you’ll first need to find one. Head to the Fortilla location in the southwest portion of the map. It’s the big sea shanty town you saw in the Season 3 trailer. You’ll find a whirlpool at the southern end of town. If you’re flying in from above, look for the large whirl in the water, not the smaller splashes that mark where fish are. I noticed you have to be swimming, not in a boat, to complete this challenge. Simply swim into the whirlpool and you’ll be shot into the sky, completing the challenge.
